We are Home!

Landed safely in Asheville at 9:15.
What an adventure we had!

Our Flight

Our flight to Chicago was going to be more than an hour late so the airline put us on this flight to Atlanta. It leaves a little earlier so we will be back in Asheville at 9:30 instead of 10:20. Wilbur is happy we didn't have to wait on the Chicago flight.

9:33 Seattle

We are in the taxi on our way to the airport. We are stopped at a drawbridge. Wilbur has his book ready for the flight.

Seattle is Full of Art

We went through a sculpture park. It was interesting . There are beautiful pieces of art all over the city.

7 Habits

We met Joshua Covey. Sean Covey is his brother. We told him all about Dana and the way we use The Habits. He is so proud of you! He told us his brother is writing more 7 Habits Books.

Seattle the Coffee Capital of The USA

Starbucks started in Seattle but there are so many other coffee places in Seattle. Our favorite is the Seattle Coffee Works. They roast their own beans.

Pike Place Market

We went to the market several times. It was fun and there were so many interesting things to see. We thought you might like to know a little bit of the history and see the route we had to take from the hotel.

#7 Waterfall Garden Park

We saved the best for last. The Waterfall Park was beautiful. There were flowers in the garden even though there was snow on the ground.

# 6

Yesler Way

The term skid row was originally a logging term and was first coined in Pioneer Square. Henry Yesler built the first steam powered lumber mill. The strip was used as a logging skid.

The Fire Museum is focused on the Seattle Fire Department and has artifacts dating back to 1834.
The Seattle Police Museum shows the history of law enforcement in Seattle.

Where is Seattle?

Good Morning Wildcats. We were thinking that you might want to see just how far we are away from home. If we took the route on the map, how many states would we cross through?
